This piece is a visual expression of my personal experience with recurrent miscarriages. The cream felt panels represent pregnancy testing strips, while the blue beads signify the control and results lines in the test strip window. The wires convey how I felt each time I waited for the pregnancy test result - frenetic, anxious and disconnected.

I created this work for an exhibition exploring the challenges of motherhood, held during the summer of 2025 at a café and gallery in Wivenhoe, Essex.
